Courses cover a range of subjects including:
- Assessment and diagnosis
- Common medical conditions
- Road traffic collision management
- Casualty evacuation
- Environmental medical conditions
- Bites and stings
- Triaging multiple casualties
- Administering medications
- Compiling suitable first-aid kits
Advanced courses include workshops including:
- Intramuscular injections
- Intravenous cannulation
On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to purchase tailor-made advanced first-aid kits which include a selection of prescription only medications suitable for use in remote environments. Courses are designed to be recognised for National Governing Body awards such as Mountain Leader Training.
